Seems unnecessarily complicated. They should really just make it so you can only loot each boss once per week.
That would make it a lot simpler and achieve the same thing. I agree. I like it, mostly. You are locked just to a heroic raid, not a normal one. So now you can only earn badges or points for 1 run through and not a 10 man and a 25 man? Wouldn't this lower the max earned in one week by 25 badges?
So, if you kill a boss it will count as killed for both the 10 man version and the 25 man version of the Raid. You can kill a boss just one each week per difficulty. As simply as possible, the Heroic "locks" will behave more closely to how raid locks in general will work now. If other players complete that instance while you are absent, the instance will be empty for you as well, because progress is tied to the instance, and not your character.
You may not switch between player and player raid size once locked to one size or the other does not apply to Mythic which is player only. Unread post by Iowawolf » Wed Jul 12, am Dang that stinks oh well thank you for the answer. Unread post by Iowawolf » Wed Jul 12, am I am not seeing this in my journal but can we now do DS on LFR and does that mount still drop or does it only drop on heroic like Invincible sorry for so many questions.
Unread post by Vephriel » Wed Jul 12, am You can still do LFR versions, but they don't drop the mounts, and you don't do them in a group of random people, it's whoever's in your group with you at the time even if it's just by yourself. The only LFR boss I can think of right now that does drop a mount is the new naga Mistress from ToS honestly, usually mounts are only from normal and above The only reason to do LFR Dragon Soul now would be for specific transmog looks. If you do want to do it, just talk to the NPC who stands outside the raid entrance.
You can solo queue for the LFR version of the wings. Unread post by peanutbuttercup » Wed Jul 12, am You didn't specify which mount you need I assume it's the Blazing Drake, which can be gotten on normal or heroic mode.

Unread post by Bowno » Wed Jul 12, am I've been doing it on my druid So I'm not sure if this will help. Kill all the tendrils, kill all the oozes. Kill everything, then go stand on one of the empty spots where one of the tendrils were.
This will force Deathwing to roll, but you will be stuck in place. From there, things should be a little more manageable. Just keep moving from left to right. If you need everything cleared off for you because you're getting overwhelmed, go ahead and kill the tendrils again and stand on a spot.
Deathwing rolling will force all mobs to be blown off his back. So I wouldn't recommend doing this if you have one of the big guys already full of a few slimes. Just when you don't have one full of much stuff and are getting too many too fast. If that makes any sense. So, if you get into a group that's already killed some bosses you can still find a different group later to go back and kill them.
Yes, that's correct. You can loot each boss once per difficulty, per week. However you can still bonus roll for loot on bosses that you have already looted for the week. You can kill a boss as many times as you want on any difficulty except Mythic , but you will only be eligible to loot the boss or receive loot through Master Looter once per week. If you come into an in-progress Normal or Heroic raid, you will share their lockout.
What this means is that your lockout will consider the raid "complete", however you can still go into someone else's fresh lockout and loot the bosses that you did not already kill. So say you come into a raid with three bosses already down and kill the remainder of the bosses with them. You can later go back and find a group starting fresh and be able to kill and loot the first three bosses, but while you will be able to kill the rest of the bosses with them, you will not be able to loot them.
If you accept a Mythic lockout, however, you will not be able to go back and kill earlier bosses until after the lockouts reset on Tuesday. Yes and no. Heroic dungeons can be done a few different ways. The first is to queue for a specific dungeon. This can be done once per day, per dungeon. Second is to walk into the instance itself. This can be done up to 10 times per hour, and you will be able to gain loot each time.
