This dark and bass-heavy track with the choral elements is one-of-a-kind. As finale themes go, this is pretty solid. There are elements in the piece that sound like a fast-beating heart, which is exactly what you're going to experience while attempting those double cheating bosses before the showdown with Morganthe.
This is another very different track. While matching the Khrysalis vibe, it also goes perfectly with Khonda Desert. Besides being totally unique, it feels like something straight out of an intense Shoot 'Em Up style drama. Anyone who did much gold farming back in the day is very familiar with the Coven. They're the star villains of both Grizzleheim and also play an active role in Wintertusk.
Approaching the Citadel in the Glacial Wastes is epic enough, but with the addition of this clearly Nordic theme, the stage is set for a big finale. This is perhaps my favorite piece of composing from either Wizard or Pirate It's intense and emotional without the need to be quick-paced. The beginning is probably the most compelling part, with strong elements present throughout. There's a strong sense of impending doom as you approach the meteor that will eventually destroy the entire world.

But before that, you'll need to defeat three old enem Zeke's quest in Grizzleheim requires tracking down the Yardbirds, which are scattered across the world! Here's where to Empyrea Part 2 has been out in Wizard now for awhile, so I think it's safe to talk about the story and the ending, as well as oth With my absolutely insane semester over, and the trials behind me, I think now is a good time to start up my usual style of blogging again. Particularly metal of course, but also of music in general.
So what better way to marry my love of this game with my love of music than to rank my absolute favorite themes? When you first arrive in a new world, the first impression comes directly from a combination of the scenery and the main theme. Most places get the scenery right, but only one world really has an exceptional main theme: Zafaria.
This is the kind of music that should play during a sunrise over the savannah. I challenge you to not dance at least a little bit while this plays - I guarantee everyone did at least once. I can just imagine the crowded hall, the pit full of sweaty people moshing and screaming, the band on stage with their outrageously 80s outfits and their stage antics Diving underwater in Celestia for the first time, I expected a typical, serene underwater track.
Just like the crabs themselves, this sounds like exactly the sort of thing they would completely unironically use as their national anthem. After a while, the novelty of it really starts to wear off. This battle theme is really a remix of sorts of the main theme, and as much as I love the main theme, this is nothing but an improvement.
I tried really hard to keep nostalgia out of this, I really did. I would be lying though, if I said that it had no part in this selection. Rather than imagining a concert hall or a marching band, this brings to mind a stroll through a north African bazaar, as the locals gather to play music together. Mirage is one of the few higher worlds where I actually enjoy every track instead of mostly ignoring them. However, this particular theme stands head and shoulders above the rest.
This sounds exactly like what a struggle for survival in the desert should sound like. From the sound alone, I can imagine the shifting sands, the hot winds, and the oppressive heat of the sun, and the way it builds to a climax midway through, and then again nearer to the end is just so satisfying. Avalon is a world that should have been much better than it actually is. One thing they definitely got right though was the music! Just imagine, after a tough day of slaying dragons, you come back your favorite little tavern in the village.
You call over the barkeep, order a few pints, and listen as the bards on their drums, flute, and lute play this track. This is the kind of thing you listen to while sitting around a fire late into the night with fellow soldiers, knights, bounty hunters, or whatever manner of person; swapping your stories of heroic deeds.
They really captured that fantastical medieval spirit of glory and camaraderie with this. Then select the player and you can add the scrolls from your back to the player. How do you use musical scrolls in Wizard?
