Fashion retailer Esprit has announced it will close all of its retail stores in Australia and New Zealand to concentrate its efforts in Asian markets. In an announcement to the market yesterday, Esprit Holdings Limited said it would shut down 67 directly-managed retail stores, including 38 concession counters and 13 off-price counters. Esprit confirmed to 9Finance that jobs will be lost as a result of the closure. Stores will close in stages with Esprit's head office shutting the doors of its head office by the end of The fashion retailer said it will continue to serve its customers while stores are open and all Esprit gift cards will still be honoured.
